Lush very kindly sent me this and I’m honestly so grateful.
I’m not usually a Snow Fairy girl, it’s never really been my scent.
But the Snow Fairy Milkshake formula? Different story.
It’s softer, creamier, and way more wearable than the original. I definitely prefer this version. That said, it’s still very strong, and I do find it can be a bit much sensory-wise so I tend to mix it with other Christmassy Lush shower gels like Merry Christmas Everyone, Yog Nog, and Golden Pear. With the ridiculous number of shower gels I own, experimenting felt necessary.
And the fact it says GEORGINA on the bottle? Absolutely unreal.
After an honestly hellish month following my Temporal Lobe Epilepsy diagnosis, this was exactly the little lift I needed.

Ella started with a gentle consultation where I explained my sensory difficulties, neurodivergence and how overwhelming hair-washing is for me. She listened, asked what was okay and what wasn’t, and made me feel genuinely understood.
I’ve been struggling since having three seizures recently, including one where I hit my head on the kerb. Even basic things like washing my hair became impossible, and I hadn’t washed it in weeks. Not once did Ella judge me, just reassurance, kindness and understanding.
Then came the Botanical Hair Wash… and wow.
A dim room, soft jungle sounds, warm steam, plants everywhere, and a weighted blanket that instantly grounded me. For the first time in years, washing my hair didn’t feel like a battle.

A symphony of darkness and light… or so I hoped.
At first glance, Metamorphosis looks beautifully mysterious with its textured, metallic grey shell. When it hits the water, streams of silver unfold and you do get those initial hints of hidden colour beneath the darkness. But as the bath art develops, the colours begin to muddy and eventually mix into a sludgy brown tone that isn’t the most appealing to look at.
The scent, however, was a bit ‘meh’ a warming, blend of black pepper, cinnamon leaf, and myrrh resinoid.
One downside worth mentioning: the dark pigments left some staining around the bath, so a bit of scrubbing was needed afterwards. While the aroma is gorgeous and the concept is dramatic, the final colour and clean-up do take away from the overall experience.

Meeting up with fellow Lushies who share the same passion was so much fun! I’ll admit, I always get nervous meeting people (yes, people in general 😅) because of my hearing loss and neurodivergence… but honestly, I didn’t need to be. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and full of Lush love.
Our day started at Lush Oxford Street, where we made our own Mrs Whippy Fresh Face Mask 🍦 and even got to try a spa-exclusive bath bomb product-making session! I couldn’t resist grabbing the Oxford Street Exclusive “Mango Meringue Crush” Body Wash while I was there (it smells divine 🍊💛).
We were also gifted the most adorable knot wraps (which doubled as aprons!) and the brand new Mystery Machine Bath Bomb!
Next stop: Lush Covent Garden, where we made the cutest Penguin Bubble Bar from the new Christmas range, I even doubled mine up into a giant one 🐧🎄
I also picked up “The Story That Came Before Lush” book, which I can’t wait to dive into. Both stores were bursting with new and exclusive products , we honestly needed even more time to explore them all!

The design is gorgeous — a pretty pastel butterfly with a soft, fruity fragrance and gentle vanilla-like notes. Ingredients like Sicilian lemon oil, benzoin, and sandalwood give it a delicate, calming scent, while cornstarch helps soften the water.
In the bath, it created sweet pastel bath art that felt very soft and cutesy 🩷💛💙 … though I will say it didn’t really transform the water much and the colours were very subtle.
Still, such a beautiful concept and making my own bath bomb was such a magical experience! 🛁✨

i initially bought it because it’s cute. but the smell is not for me, it’s very grassy
I picked this little guy up purely for the adorable turtle shape, because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want a wobbly jelly turtle in their shower?
The packaging promises oceanic vibes and a fresh, hydrating cleanse and texture-wise, it delivers! The jelly is firm but bouncy, with just enough wobble to be fun but not annoying.
The scent though… this is where it lost me. Described as a mix of orange flower absolute, cinnamon leaf oil, and myrrh resinoid, it leans very green and grassy, almost like crushed herbs or wet leaves. It’s earthy, but not in a warm or cozy way. For me (with sensory overwhelm and a sensitive nose), it felt a bit too much like a muddy garden after rain.
Not unpleasant, just… not something I’d personally reach for again.
But credit where it’s due: this does lather beautifully, and my skin felt soft and lightly exfoliated afterward, likely from the apple juice and seaweed combo.
Bonus points for being palm-free and fully vegan too!
Pro tip: Pop it in the fridge or freezer for a lovely cool-down. It’s extra refreshing and makes the scent feel less intense.

Wow, the size of Sadie is absolutely massive!
I didn’t expect it to be that big or that beautiful in person. Named after Lush Co-Founder and the original inventor of the bath bomb, it feels like a true tribute. It is so glittery and fizzed away for an impressive 12 minutes!
The bath art is stunning, with swirling colours that feel luxurious and joyful. It’s bold, celebratory, and easily one of Lush’s most impressive recent releases.
It left a gorgeous red, very opaque bath water and the scent was one I haven’t come across before, but I loved it!
Slightly higher in price, but for the size and end results, I would certainly say it is worth it.
